The first major deliverable Conceptual Architecture of PSIRP: including sub-components descriptions (D2.2) has been published. D2.2 provides the first results of the project's architectural effort. It outlines the project's vision, its overall design methodology as well as the goals of the design effort.

It then presents the major conceptual developments that are driven forward in later deliverables, namely the concepts of naming data and meta-data on different levels, enabling the construction of information networks (scoping) and the general publish-subscribe communication model used within these networks. This leads to a first conceptual architecture being presented together with its main components.

The deliverable also outlines first ideas on design choices currently worked on. Finally, considerations are outlined as to how specific application types could be implemented in a PSIRP architecture.
